Our undergraduate accounting program provides a strong foundation for students to launch a career in the public or private sector, or pursue their Master in Accountancy degree. Recently ranked as #26 in the country by US News and World Report, our program boasts a diverse and challenging curriculum, dedicated and knowledgeable faculty, and strong connections to regional and national employers.

Mission Statement

To develop ethical graduates highly qualified for professional careers in accounting and allied financial services positions in public accounting, corporate and other organizations. Our programs will be characterized by rigorous curricula offered in a personalized learning environment; to advance knowledge and application of accounting theory and practice our high quality faculty will be involved in a complementary mix of research and contributions to professional practice.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program

The purpose of the VITA program is to provide assistance to low income taxpayers in preparing their tax returns.

Students gain real world experience while helping law enforcement officials prosecute white collar crimes and helping victims of fraud achieve justice.
