Students can arrive on Saturday evening if they have to, but are encouraged to arrive on Sunday and instead of Saturday. You are encouraged to book a hotel room if you arrive on Saturday. If booking a hotel is not possible, we will try to make accommodations to the best of our abilities. There is no programming planned for Saturday night and you are responsible for all meals Saturday night.
Yes, students participating in GOOB will have the opportunity to check into their residence hall rooms on Sunday, August 22 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. You will not however have time to get your rooms settled, (you will have at most about an hour), but you will be able to get your residence hall keys and put your items in your room. For students whose travel necessitates that you arrive on Saturday evening, you will not be allowed to move in until Sunday morning. Please contact Gonzaga Outdoors, if you need information regarding accommodations. GOOB participants will be able to stay in their residence halls on Thursday night following our return.
