Gonzaga University offers five optional, fee-based Pre-Orientation Programs that take place before New Student Orientation Weekend. Each Pre-Orientation Program focuses on a different aspect of the Zag student experience: holistic education, social justice, promoting diversity, spiritual growth and opening yourself to new adventures. This is a great opportunity to explore the Gonzaga community, make friends, move in early and develop your mind, body, and spirit.
Registration:Registration for all four programs is on a first-come, first served basis. Students may only participate in one program.
Open: Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 9 a.m. PST
Closes: Friday, June 7, 2019
- Gonzaga Out of Bounds: Backpacking - $300
- Gonzaga Out of Bounds: Montana - $450
- RISE - $125
- BRIDGE - $70
- Embark - $60
Fee waivers, based on financial need, are available for students on a first-come, first served basis. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact the Pre-Orientation program you are interested in prior to registration opening.

Building Relationships in Diverse Gonzaga Environments (BRIDGE)Designed to assist first generation students, students of multicultural backgrounds, LGBTQ+ identified students, low-income and/or undocumented students, BRIDGE creates lasting relationships and supportive networks.
Gonzaga-Out-Of-Bounds (GOOB)Experience the outdoor in two different programs that run simultaneously. The Montana program will bike, hike, and white water raft. The Backpacking program will consist of a backpacking trip through one of three beautiful locations in the beautiful northwest.

Rooted In Solidarity & Engagement (RISE)
Participate in community building program through service with fellow new students.
Begin your time at Gonzaga in prayer, community, and authenticity while exploring the Ignatian spiritual tradition that informs and animates every aspect of the university.
