3pm Parents & Families Depart

Sadly, this is the time for parents and families to say goodbye! We look forward to seeing you back on campus during Fall Family Weekend.

When to Arrive on Campus:
Orientation begins on Friday, August 24th. Students will be allowed to move in that morning. This requires that either you wake up early (depending upon the length of your drive) and make it to campus for check in, or book a hotel reservation for Thursday night so you can arrive on campus on Friday morning. Most students and their families book a hotel, because it is the easiest way to make move-in day go smoothly. Either way, you must make travel plans accordingly, which brings us to...

Flights and Hotel Reservations:

If you plan to book a hotel, you will need to start soon! Hotels in town, especially those close to campus, fill early. For information about hotels, see our Accommodations Page. For directions on how to get to campus, see our Transportation and Directions Page. Unfortunately, Gonzaga does not provide a shuttle service.
