- Pick-up your name badge(s) and tool-kit inclusive of all of our printed publications
- Hospitality tent with individually wrapped grab and go snacks
- 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Spo-Tour and Trivia at various locations around Spokane
- 6:00 - 8:30 PM - Dinner with your student
- 8:30 PM - Depart campus
When to Arrive on Campus:
Students have been assigned one of the following move in dates, August 26th, 27th, or 28th, and a move-in time. Parent & Family check-in will be on Foley Field. You may want to wake up early (depending upon the length of your travel) to make it to campus for check in, or book a hotel reservation for the night before your assigned move in date so you can arrive on campus with ease the next day. Most students and their families book a hotel, because it is the easiest way to make move-in day go smoothly. Either way, you must make travel plans accordingly.
When to Leave Campus:
In an effort to keep the number of guests on campus to a minimum due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols we will not be hosting on-campus/in person programming for parent and family members beyond your student's assigned move-in date. In addition, there will be no on-campus/in person parent and family programming on Saturday, August 29th or Sunday, August 30th. We kindly ask that you say your goodbyes and depart campus after the dinner break, by 8:30 PM, on your student's assigned move-in date. We understand that the circumstances of our time can make this transition even more difficult than usual. We appreciate your patience, amenability, and understanding throughout this process.
Flights and Hotel Reservations:
If you plan to book a hotel, you should start as soon as your Zag is assigned their move in date! Hotels in town, especially those close to campus, fill early. For information about hotels, see our Accommodations Page. For directions on how to get to campus, see our Transportation and Directions Page. Unfortunately, Gonzaga does not provide a shuttle service.
