Prepare for the Application Process

American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS)
This is the centralized medical school application processing service. Think of it as the “Common App” for most U.S. medical schools. Most specialty health fields have their own individual application sites, which can be found through the links to Professional Organizations below.

Standardized Exams
Register for the MCAT or other required standardized exam. Most medical schools require the MCAT, but specialty programs (dentistry, for example) have specific exams and others (PA, for example) require the GRE.

Boost Your Resume through Service, Involvement & Leadership

Get involved with on-campus organizations to develop leadership skills, meet other students and learn more about your particular career interest. Some relevant organizations include the Health Sciences Club, Human Physiology Club, Pre-Dental Club, and the Psychology Club.

Center for Community Engagement
Explore service opportunities on and off campus. Browse by commitment type (weekly service, service immersion, and flexible / one-day options) or interest area.
