Program Features

Personal Assessments

The program begins with the completion a Checkpoint 360 and Profile XT survey involving feedback from your supervisor, subordinates, and peers, which will identify your strengths and growth areas. In mid-January, you will complete an Emotional Intelligence profile that indicates your relationship strategies in difficult scenarios.

Fall Retreat

In late October, the cohort is brought together to Ross Point Conference Center for an interactive overnight retreat led by Dr. Joe Albert, ELP co-founder.

An Experienced Mentor

You will be matched with a respected and trusted executive whose career has included high performance expectations. You will be provided with guidance in order to maximize the interaction with your mentor.

Stretch Project Assignment

You are expected to design and complete a strategically aligned initiative at your company that is likely to stretch your leadership and technical skills. This can be a new or continuing project.

Practical Courses

Six full-day sessions (one Friday per month from December to May) bring the cohort to Gonzaga and other locations for highly-interactive discussions led by guest facilitators. Instructional and mentor sources are carefully selected from the Gonzaga network of faculty, local professional practitioners, and credible affiliates. Class sessions include CEO case studies and practical strategies for immediate application in these focus areas:

  • Self-Leadership
  • Organizational Change Management
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Employee Engagement
  • Interpersonal Communication
  • Public Speaking

Gonzaga University Credit

ELP participants receive six (6) credits of Continuing Education credits, which can count as three (3) credits towards the completion of Gonzaga University's Master's in Organizational Leadership or Master's in Communication & Leadership.

TOTAL COST: $6,500 per participant (all inclusive)
