Biographical Information

Mark Vovos received his BA from St. Ambrose University in 1963 and his JD from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1968. He is a Spokane trial lawyer in both federal and state court, and has practiced criminal defense and personal injury for 40 years.

In addition to teaching trial practice and dispute resolution at Gonzaga Law School, Mr. Vovos is an elected Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and one of the founding members of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Mr. Vovos has been the chairman and/or a member of the Washington State Bar Association Criminal Law Executive Board for over 30 years, and he is an appointed member of the Washington Supreme Court Death Qualification Committee.
