In 2014, the Gonzaga Law Alumni Association underwent a systemic review and reconfiguration to provide services that all alumni can use and benefit from after they leave GU Law.
Every alum is automatically part of the Alumni Association upon graduation – there is no charge and no paperwork! The Alumni Association is focused on helping alumni connect with each other (and benefit from the connections that can be made through a strong professional network) but also keep alumni connected to the school, through development and mentoring programs.
There is also an increased emphasis on helping recruit students, so alumni can help attract the best and brightest to campus.
The Alumni Association is working closely in the four committees outlined below.
If you are interested in being involved or would like more information about the Alumni Association generally, please feel free to contact me or one of the committee chairs listed below.- Annie Arbenz, (’08), Attorney at Andrews & Arbenz
Committee Vice-Chair: Matthew Luedke ‘08
The Mentoring Committee will strive to improve and increase engagement between students and alumni. The focus is to help support and guide future lawyers. Our goal is to build quality lawyers through our programs as well as seek out alumni who are vested in the development of GU law students
Our Reunion committee focuses on increasing attendance for our decade reunions. We hope to create a unique experience catering to the needs of each decade. In order to ensure an enjoyable reunion we use our Class Agents to help build and boost participation for reunions. If you would like to volunteer as a Class Agent, contact Sarah Guzman.

The Recruitment Committee plays a vital role in marketing Gonzaga Law to the community to increase awareness of our excellent legal education. We help to recruit prospective students by sharing past GU Law experiences and all the wonderful qualities Spokane has to offer. This committee will help support the Admitted Student Fund, a fund which will assist Admissions to bring select student prospects to campus, to meet professors, tour campus and visit Spokane all of which will help with their decision to choose GU Law.
President: Annie Arbenz ‘08
The Alumni Development committee will work to enhance engagement opportunities between alumni as well as include contributions to the law school. The goal will be to keep the brand of Gonzaga Law School strong all across the country.
