Dr. Dave Houglum is currently the Director for Leadership in the Franz Center for Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Portland where he creates educational experiences for students to serve and lead. He has a passion for the integration of service and leadership and has led students on study abroad experiences in Zambia, the Philippines, Nicaragua and India.
In conjunction with Dr. Carey and Dr. Armstrong, Dr. Houglum co-developed ORGL 600: Foundations in Leadership and he serves on the Board of Directors for the Maybelle Center for Community in downtown Portland, Oregon.
