Gonzaga's Office of Admission is offering a lot of great visit options, both in-person and virtual. Check out all of our great opportunities:
Throughout the fall, we offer Daily Visits twice a day on most weekdays. Our morning option takes place between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM and our afternoon option takes place between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Included in your visit would be an information session led by an admission counselor, a campus tour led by a student ambassador, and a meeting with an admission counselor (which also serves as an informal admission interview for prospective students). Please note, though, that meetings with admission counselors are only available to high school juniors, high school seniors, and interested transfer students.
On select Saturdays throughout the fall, we offer a Saturday Visit option. These visits begin at 11:30 AM and conclude at 1:30 PM. Included is an information session led by an admission counselor and a campus tour led by a student ambassador.
Preview Days will be offered on Friday, October 8th, Monday, October 18th, and Friday, November 12th. Preview Days are our most comprehensive in-person visit option. Included are breakfast and opening remarks, campus tours led by student ambassadors and admission counselors, a student panel for prospective students, a financial aid information session for parents and family, a lunch, academic information sessions, and optional admission interviews. The events begin at 9:30 AM and conclude at 2:00 PM, with the optional admission interviews following.
Virtual Information Session
These sessions are offered on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM Pacific Time. This presentation is led by an admission counselor and covers academics, student life, the admissions process, and financial aid.
Virtual Meeting with an Admission Counselor
These meetings are offered throughout the afternoon on weekdays. For prospective students, this also acts as an informal admission interview. We recommend this meeting to all prospective students, but they are highly encouraged if a student has an unweighted GPA at or below 3.2.
Live Virtual Tour
Our Live Virtual Tours are at 3:00 PM Pacific Time on Thursday, October 7th and Thursday, November 4th. This visit option is led by student ambassadors and will cover several buildings including academics, student life, athletics, and more.
Virtual Student Panel
Our Virtual Student Panels are at 3:00 PM Pacific Time on Thursday, September 23rd, Thursday, October 21st, and Thursday, November 18th. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of current Zags about their experiences at GU.
Virtual Meeting with a Faculty Member or with a Current Student
These meetings are available on weekdays. When completing the registration, you will note which type of meeting you are interested in, your interests, and your availability. To meet with a current student, students must be high school juniors, high school seniors, or interested transfers. These meetings also require at least one week’s notice. To meet with a faculty member, students must be high school seniors or interested transfers. These meetings also require at least two weeks’ notice.
***For students interested in meeting with Nursing faculty, please keep an eye out for Nursing-specific programming this fall at the link below.
Virtual Preview Day
Virtual Preview Day will be held on Saturday, October 2nd from 11:00 AM to 1:40 PM, after which students may sign up for an optional Admission Interview. Included in this visit are opportunities to connect with current Zags, Gonzaga faculty and staff, and admission staff.
The Office of Admission will be offering two webinars this fall. On Wednesday, September 29th at 6:00 PM Pacific Time, we will be offering a How to Apply Webinar, where students and families will have the chance to hear from admission staff as you prepare to apply for colleges. On Wednesday, October 13th at 6:00 PM Pacific Time, we will be offering a Financial Aid Webinar, led by admission staff and financial aid staff.
