About This Event

Academic Convocation is our First-Year students' official welcome to the academic community. The event takes place in St. Aloysius Church on the last day of New Student Orientation, Monday, August 29, 2022, before classes begin and is a mandatory event for all incoming new Zags. Gonzaga's Provost Dr. Sacha Kopp, will act as the Master of Ceremonies in formally presenting the Class of 2026 to the university faculty. A faculty member and one exceptional senior student speaker will share their thoughts on the Gonzaga academic experience.
