National Gonzaga Day is about celebrating the distinctive Zag community – full of pride, made up of life-long connections and always ready to help those in need. It all starts with the decision to attain an academically challenging, faith-based education at Gonzaga. The “Gonzaga Experience” then continues on well beyond graduation, with opportunities for life-long learning, giving back to help future Zags afford an exceptional education and supporting Zags in finding their career path.

Last year, at the inaugural National Gonzaga Day, President Thayne McCulloh revealed Gonzaga’s vision for a magnificent, state-of-the-art University Center. We are pleased to share this Gonzaga Day that construction on the John J. Hemmingson Center is underway and on course for a Fall 2015 opening. At this year’s events, we celebrate the many global aspects of a Gonzaga education. As part of this, we are inviting the community to join us October 2014 as Gonzaga hosts the Opus Prize – one of the world’s most prestigious, faith-based humanitarian awards.
