Assessment vs. Presentation Portfolios

Foliotek has two very different kinds of portfolios: Assessment and Presentation. Depending on the needs of the course or program that will be using digital portfolios, we will help you determine which portfolio works best for the requirements or may suggest a hybrid of the two.

Assessment portfolios are more streamlined and designed for assignments. They have more capabilities for feedback, standards alignment, and reporting. Students will only work on an Assessment portfolio if it is assigned to them.

Below are links to general help files that can be found on the Foliotek website:

Presentation portfolios are available to everyone with a Foliotek account and there is no limit to the number of Presentation portfolios that can be created. These portfolios are much more graphic and they are under full control of the student. The student gets to personalize the look and feel of the portfolio, can add any evidence they deem necessary, and can determine who to share the portfolio with.
