Electronic reserves policy for Foley Library.

Policy

Gonzaga faculty, staff, or official University organization (including committees and clubs) may place library-owned or personal materials on electronic reserve using the Reading Lists by Leganto platform in order to support classroom assignments, coursework, and organizations.

All material placed on electronic reserve must comply with University copyright policy.

Placing Library Items on Electronic Reserve

To place an item on electronic reserve, visit the Reading Lists by Leganto guide.

Items may be linked to a Reading List electronically via the library catalog and databases, or directly from the course Reading List.

Any items on print reserve are automatically added to a course Reading List.

Reading Lists may be linked to Blackboard courses.

Library staff are able to assist with electronic reserves and linking Reading Lists to Blackboard if needed.

Personal Items on Electronic Reserve

Personal (non-library) documents may be uploaded to electronic reserve with the following considerations:

Uploading personal (non-library) electronic reserve items are subject to University copyright policy.

The library is not responsible for copyright clearance on personal (non-library) owned electronic reserve items.


Accessing Electronic Reserve Items

Current Gonzaga students, faculty and staff may access electronic reserve items via Blackboard or directly from the Reading Lists by Leganto platform.

Items may be accessed and downloaded for immediate use.
