Attending a professional conference can be an incredibly rewarding and empowering experience for a student, but it can be challenging to get there. The Center for Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry can provide students with help.
A student can receive up to $400 if they are presenting at a regional or national conference, to be used for airfare, hotel stays, conference registration fees, or ground transportation. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Funding availability is limited, so students are encouraged to apply as early as they can.
The Student Travel Application can be found by visiting myGU.
Students are eligible to apply for travel grants through CUR.
