US Army Veteran and author Mike Nemeth participated in the Telling War dialogue sessions. Best known for entrepreneurial projects like Six Word War, Nemeth lead a practical workshop on how veterans can pursue their own creative projects. His discussion included where he went wrong and what he learned while fitting a creative outlet in to a busy life. His goal was to show others that, “yes, you can do this.” To prove his point, he asked Telling War Veterans to begin writing their own stories, six words at a time. Some were funny. Some were sad. All were powerful.
