Creating Authorized Payer Accounts

Students have the option to designate another party to view and pay student bills. This third party (Parents, family members, friends or employers) will need a one-time authorization, issued by the student via the payment website, CASHNet

Billing statements are available online only through the CASHNet billing portal. Students access CASHNet through their Zagweb account.

**We encourage students to set up their authorized payers as soon as possible**

 Create an Authorized Payer Account

  1. Students access the following site: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu

  2. Select "Enter Secure Area" and use your network user name and password

  3. Click on "Login", you will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen

  4. Click on the "Student" tile

  5. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment, Deposits, and eRefund

  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet", you will be connected to CASHNet's Main Menu screen

  7. Look for the box labeled "Parent PINs"

  8. Click on the "Add New" link in the "Parent PINs" box.

  9. Create a "Parent PIN/Username" for your authorized payer and complete all of the contact information for that person.

  10. Click "Yes" next to "Should this person be allowed to log in?"

  11. Review the remaining permissions and select the appropriate choices for your Authorized Payer. 

  12. Click "OK" to create the account. The original temporary password will be system generated and emailed directly to the authorized payer.

  13. Once you successfully create the account(s), provide the authorized payer with their user name(s), and the following website address: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu/authorizedpayer 

When the authorized payer logs into their account with the temporary password, they will need to create a new password and security question to be able to view your bills and make payments to your account.

Reset Your Authorized Payer's Password

  1. Students access the following site: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu

  2. Select "Enter Secure Area" and use your network user name and password

  3. Click on "Login", you will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen

  4. Click on the "Student" tile

  5. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment, Deposits, and eRefund

  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet", you will be connected to CASHNet's Main Menu screen

  7. Look for the box labeled "Parent PINs"

  8. Click on "Edit" next to the Parent PIN you need to reset.

  9. Click "Reset Password".

  10. Click "Continue" on the following screen to acknowledge that "For security reasons, when an authorized payer password is reset all saved payment information is deleted."

  11. A temporary password will be system generated and emailed directly to the authorized payer.

When the authorized payer logs into their account with the temporary password, they will need to create a new password and security question to be able to view your bills and make payments to your account.
