CASHNet Instructions for Students

Students have the option to designate another party to view and pay student bills. This third party (Parents, family members, friends or employers) will need a one-time authorization, issued by the student via the payment website, CASHNet

Billing statements are posted through the CASHNet billing portal. Students access CASHNet through their Zagweb account.

When the statement is posted to CASHNet, you will receive an email to your Zagmail account (@zagmail.gonzaga.edu) which will instruct you to view your statement online. The billing statement is a static PDF document that will not be updated until the next billing cycle. To view real time activity on your account, students can login to Zagweb, click on the "Student" and then the "Student Records" link to find the "Account Summary by Term" link that itemizes their current account balance.

CASHNet Login Instructions for Students

  1. Students access the following site: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Select "Enter Secure Area" and use your network user name and password
  3. Click on "Login", you will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen     
  4. Click on the "Student" tile
  5. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment, Deposits, and eRefund
  6.  Click on "Enter CASHNet", you will be connected to CASHNet's Main Menu screen

View a Billing Statement on CASHNet

  1. Students access the following site: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Select "Enter Secure Area" and use your network user name and password   

  3. Click on "Login", you will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen
  4. Click on the "Student" tile
  5. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment, Deposits, and eRefund
  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet", you will be connected to CASHNet's Main Menu screen
  7. Look for the box labeled "Your Bills"
  8. Click on the "View" link next to first billing statement.
  9. A new window will open with your billing statement.
  10. Please review the statement for your current balance owing.
  11. Either minimize or close the billing statement window to return to the CASHNet Main Menu screen.

Make a Payment on CASHNet with an Electronic Check (From your Checking or Savings Account)

  1. Students access the following site: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Select "Enter Secure Area" and use your network user name and password

  3. Click on "Login", you will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen
  4. Click on the "Student" tile
  5. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment, Deposits, and eRefund
  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet", you will be connected to CASHNet's Main Menu screen
  7. Look for the box labeled "Your Bills"
  8. Click on the "View" link next to first billing statement.
  9. A new window will open with your billing statement.
  10. Please review the statement for your current balance owing.
  11. Either minimize or close the billing statement window to return to the CASHNet Main Menu screen.
  12. Click "Make Payment" at the top of the page.
  13. Click "Payment on Account"
  14. Enter amount of payment into the "Amount" box and click "Make Payment"
  15. Verify your total amount and click "Continue".
  16. Select Method of Payment (Enter new electronic check information) and click on "Continue".
  17. Complete your checking/savings account information and enter your email address so that a receipt may be emailed to you. Do not add any spaces, dashes or punctuation marks. No service fee applies to an eCheck.
  18. Click on "Continue"
  19. Verify all of your payment information and then click "Submit Payment"

Make a Payment on CASHNet with a Credit Card

  1. Students access the following site: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Select "Enter Secure Area" and use your network user name and password

  3. Click on "Login", you will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen
  4. Click on the "Student" tile
  5. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment, Deposits, and eRefund" 
  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet", you will be connected to CASHNet's Main Menu screen
  7. Look for the box labeled "Your Bills"
  8. Click on the "View" link next to first billing statement.
  9. A new window will open with your billing statement.
  10. Please review the statement for your current balance owing.
  11. Either minimize or close the billing statement window to return to the CASHNet Main Menu screen.
  12. Click "Make Payment" at the top of the page.
  13. Click "Payment on Account"
  14. Enter amount of payment into the "Amount" box and click "Make Payment"
  15. Verify your total amount and click "Continue".
  16. Select Method of Payment (Enter new credit card information) and click on "Continue"
  17. Complete your credit card information, address information and enter your email address so that a receipt may be emailed to you. Do not add any spaces, dashes or punctuation marks. All major credit cards accepted. A 2.75% service fee is added to the payment account for credit/debit card payments.
  18.  Click on "Continue"
  19. Verify all of your payment information and then click "Submit Payment"

Make a Payment on CASHNet with Foreign Currency (IFT)

  1. Students access the following site: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu 
  2. Select "Enter Secure Area" and use your network user name and password
  3. Click on "Login", you will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen
  4. Click on the "Student" tile
  5. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment, Deposits, and eRefund
  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet", you will be connected to CASHNet's Main Menu screen
  7. Look for the box labeled "Your Bills"
  8. Click on the "View" link next to first billing statement.
  9. A new window will open with your billing statement.
  10. Please review the statement for your current balance owing.
  11. Either minimize or close the billing statement window to return to the CASHNet Main Menu screen.
  12. Click "Make Payment" at the top of the page.
  13. Click "Payment on Account"
  14. Enter amount of payment into the "Amount" box and click "Make Payment"
  15. Verify your total amount and click "Continue".
  16. Select Method of Payment (Pay with foreign currency) and click on "Continue"
  17. Select the country from the drop down menu that your payment will come from.
  18. Select the currency from the drop down menu that you will be sending your payment in. The currency converter will process the current exchange rate in the box below.
  19. Enter your name into the "Remitter Name" box, or the name of who will be making the payment.
  20. Enter your email address into the "Email Address" box so that you will receive the payment instruction sheet to bring to your personal bank/financial institution.
  21. Read the "Terms and Conditions" section and click on the box next to this phrase "Yes, I have read and understood the above information and wish to proceed."
  22. Verify all of your payment information and then click "Submit Payment" .
  23. Click on the link on the next page that reads "Click here to view and print important instructions that must be taken to your bank when you initiate the transfer of funds."
  24. Print a copy of this page and bring this form into your personal bank to complete your International Funds Transfer (IFT).
  25. You have 72 hours to bring the form into your bank and complete the payment, otherwise the conversion rate will no longer be valid and you will need to make a completely new payment on CASHNet by following these steps listed above.

Create an Authorized Payer Account

  1. Students access the following site: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Select "Enter Secure Area" and use your network user name and password
  3. Click on "Login", you will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen
  4. Click on the "Student" tile
  5. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment, Deposits, and eRefund
  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet", you will be connected to CASHNet's Main Menu screen
  7. Look for the box labeled "Parent PINs"
  8. Click on the "Add New" link in the "Parent PINs" box.
  9. Create a "Parent PIN/Username" for your authorized payer and complete all of the contact information for that person.
  10. Click "Yes" next to "Should this person be allowed to log in?"
  11. Select "Access & Receive Emails" from the drop down menu next to "Have permission to access electronic bills and if so, also receive electronic bill email notifications?"
  12. Click "OK" to create the account. The original temporary password will be system generated and emailed directly to the authorized payer.
  13. Once you successfully create the account(s), provide the authorized payer with their login name(s), and the following website address: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu/authorizedpayer .

When the authorized payer logs into their account with the temporary password, they will need to create a new password and security question to be able to view your bills and make payments to your account.

Reset Your Authorized Payer's Password

  1. Students access the following site: https://zagweb.gonzaga.edu
  2. Select "Enter Secure Area" and use your network user name and password
  3. Click on "Login", you will be connected to Zagweb's Main Menu screen
  4. Click on the "Student" tile
  5. Click on "Electronic Billing, Payment, Deposits, and eRefund
  6. Click on "Enter CASHNet", you will be connected to CASHNet's Main Menu screen
  7. Look for the box labeled "Parent PINs"
  8. Click on "Edit" next to the Parent PIN you need to reset.
  9. Click "Reset Password".
  10. Click "Continue" on the following screen to acknowledge that "For security reasons, when an authorized payer password is reset all saved payment information is deleted."
  11. A temporary password will be system generated and emailed directly to the authorized payer.
