Dr. Catherine Zeisner is a proud Canadian scholar-practitioner who believes the best in education is right around the corner. As an assistant professor in Gonzaga's School of Education Department of Education Leadership and Administration (DELA) Catherine teaches Masters, Doctoral, and Principal Certificate candidates while researching social-emotional development and leadership development. Catherine believes in the power of resiliency and positivity as demonstrated by her conquering cancer and completing 3 Chicago Marathons. Formerly a K-12 educator in French, Phys-ed, the 7th grade, and special education, Catherine knows all students and educators can thrive in our diverse educational settings. As an ADHD program director, vice-principal, learning supervisor, and principal, Catherine learned relationships are the key to educational success by bridging the gaps between what’s needed and what’s possible. “Anything is possible if you have the right people in the right room at the right time, focusing on the right things.”
