Jennie Sevedge-Angel has been teaching English for over fifteen years abroad and the U.S.

She came to Gonzaga in 2006 after teaching at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, Whitworth University, and the University of Alabama. At Gonzaga, her ESL classes focus on reflective practice and the cultural, social, and academic skills that help students succeed in their goals. Her current research and curricular development interests center on teaching multilingual students about community, multilingualism, and identity in order to empower them and their communities.
