My research interests are cosmology, gravity, and high energy physics. I have published in these areas as well as in operations research. Recent papers of mine can be found under the research tab. I am married with three children, the youngest of which is now in college. Outside interests include history, classical music, German (lived and studied in Germany for many years), documentaries, and investing. My teaching philosophy is simple: Be grateful to be able to learn about new ideas, and have some fun in the process.
