Melanie Nash, DNP, APRN, NP-C is a lecturer in Gonzaga's MSN, FNP and DNP programs. Her practice focus has been in primary care to adults and currently as a volunteer in a safety-net clinic for vulnerable persons. Her most formidable task was to build a nurse practitioner clinical education program and nurse practitioner residency in her five-year role as Co-director for the Center of Excellence in Primary Education. She has provided care in India and Africa, has co-authored multiple publications and presented on FNP practice and nurse practitioner residency building. She believes DNPs are changing the face of health care throughout the United States.
