Jennifer Akins has enjoyed a long career teaching English, training teachers and facilitating intercultural experiences both in the U.S. and abroad. As a faculty member of the English Language Center (ELC) at Gonzaga, she teaches in the Intensive English, Gonzaga Global and MATESOL programs. Her research interests include theories of translanguaging and identity development in multicultural and multilingual spaces.
