The Gonzaga University Mathematics Department actively participates in key activities through mathematical associations and research organizations. Our participation in the conferences sponsored by the following organizations ensures professional development for our faculty as well as an opportunity for students to showcase their research and engage in peer-to-peer learning

Pacific Northwest Mathematical Association of America Section Meeting
A delegation of 12 students presented at the Pacific Northwest MAA 2019 section meeting at the University of Portland and we were able to sponsor two additional students' attendance.
Two groups of students traveled to the Pacific Northwest MAA 2018 section meeting at Seattle University to present their research.
Gonzaga was the host site of the PNW MAA 2017 section meeting.
The Mathematics Department was pleased to be able to sponsor thirteen students' attendance and/or presentations at the 2015 Pacific Northwest MAA section meeting at the University of Washington Tacoma in April 2015. Two of our students gave oral presentations and received awards from Pi Mu Epsilon (PME - a national mathematical honor society) and the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM). We sent a delegation of eleven students to the 2013 Pacific Northwest MAA meeting at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon in April 2013. Of our eleven students, five were presenters. This was the second year we brought a large group of students to the regional MAA meeting.
