Committed to Our Faculty

Consistent with Gonzaga’s Ignatian heritage, the Center for Teaching and Advising (CTA) serves faculty by advancing a culture of reflective practice in teaching and advising at Gonzaga. This help develop better teachers – and in turn benefits our students.

We do this by making the following commitments to faculty across career stages:

  • Commitment One: We will support your ongoing development as teachers and advisors by providing high-quality, relevant programming.
  • Commitment Two: We will support your ongoing development as teachers and advisors by assisting you to access resources related to teaching and advising on and off campus.
  • Commitment Three: We will support your ongoing development as teachers and advisors by maintaining and developing communities of inquiry about best practices.
  • Commitment Four: We will support your ongoing development as teachers and advisors by pursuing opportunities for you to gain recognition for committed and innovative work with our students.
