Graduate Commencement 2019
For Masters students completing studies in 2019, and approved Doctoral students. No tickets are required for any celebration event. All are open seating. No guest limit.
No balloons, large signs, or loud sound items are allowed in the ceremony facilities. Each facility will utilize metal detectors and bag checks. Clear bags are not required.
Disabled seating is managed by the professional crowd support staff on site at each facility. Arrive early, and drop off your limited-mobility person(s) near the entry doors before parking.

Rental Attire Pick-up
May 6-10 in the Zag Shop. Return gowns and hoods by 5pm on Sunday, May 12. Cap and tassel are keepsakes.
Graduate Commencement Ceremony at 12:00 to 2:00pm in the McCarthey Athletic Center.
11:00am - Doors open for Guests
11:15am – Students lineup Martin Centre Gym. Guests to McCarthey Athletic Center.
11:45am – Students move into position for the academic procession
12:00noon – Ceremony begins
2:00pm – Social on the Quad Lawn until 3:30 p.m.

Graduate Commencement Speaker - Judith Mayotte
Professor Mayotte is a long-time advocate for refugees and displaced civilians, as well as an author and award-winning television documentary producer. She will receive an Honorary Doctor of Laws.
Graduate Student Speaker - Michael Ortiz
Mr. Ortiz is earning a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership degree.
Commencement Mass in McCarthey Athletic Center 4:00 to 5:30pm
Meets Sunday obligation and all all faiths are welcome.
