In compliance with 34 CFR §106.45(b)(10)(i)(D) issued by the U.S. Department of Education to amend the regulations implementing Title IX of the Educational Amendments Act of 1972, Gonzaga University has made publicly available the minimum training materials used to train the university’s Title IX Coordinator, investigators, decision-makers and other personnel involved in administering the Policy for Complying with the Title IX Regulations/Title IX Final Rule Regarding Formal Complaints of Sexual Harassment.
Gonzaga University’s Title IX Personnel have or will have at a minimum, and prior to participating in the administration of the Policy for Complying with the Title IX Regulations/Title IX Final Rule Regarding Formal Complaints of Sexual Harassment, in-person or online virtual training programs offered through ATIXA in the following subjects pertinent to their specific responsibilities:
As appropriate for their role, the following minimum Training Certifications and the materials used to train, were or will be obtained by the Title IX Staff responsible for administering Gonzaga’s Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy:
- Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Coordinators Updated Trainings for July 2020-December 2020: Level 1 Title IX Coordinator and Administrator Training
- Title IX Investigators Updated Trainings for July 2020-December 2020: Level 1 Investigator Training
- Title Hearing Officer and Decision Makers Updated Trainings for July 2020-December 2020: Hearing Officer and Decision-Maker Training & Certification Course

These materials are proprietary of ATIXA and are licensed to the licensee only, for its use. This license permits the licensee to use the materials personally and/or internally to the licensee’s organization for training purposes, only. These materials may be used to train Title IX personnel, and thus are subject to 34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10), requiring all training materials to be posted publicly on a website. No public display, sharing, or publication of these materials by a licensee/purchaser is permitted by ATIXA.

Licensees will receive a link to their materials from ATIXA. Should any licensee post or permit someone to post these materials to a public website outside of the authorized materials link, ATIXA will send a letter instructing the licensee to immediately remove the content from the public website upon penalty of copyright violation.
