Spokane GOOB · July 26th - 28th
Spokane GOOB is a smaller setting outdoors pre-orientation trip than Montana GOOB for only 30 lucky freshmen. Spokane GOOB takes place in the middle of the summer. Freshmen are invited to Gonzaga's campus for a full weekend of adventures in Spokane area. The weekend is packed full of outdoor fun and adventure right in Gonzaga's backyard. Freshmen should be prepared for a fast-paced, exciting time! Activities include flat-water kayaking on the Little Spokane River, hiking, a high-ropes course and other exciting activities. Evenings are spent on campus making s'mores and hanging out with other Freshmen and the upperclassmen adventure guides. This is a fantastic way to meet other outdoors-loving freshmen and to learn about Gonzaga and college upperclassman guides. It is also a wonderful way to become acquainted with the outdoor recreation opportunities in the Spokane before you even start school!
