The Mission of the Gonzaga University Health & Counseling Services is to contribute to the physical, emotional and mental health of each student through the provision of quality, accessible, cost effective primary health care to return students to their academic life.

We hope to lessen the disruption of their studies by illness and to enhance the emotional, relational, and psychological well-being of students. We strive to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices through ongoing education and any outreach programs.

The Health & Counseling Services strives to assist students in their academic goals and personal development consistent with the Mission of Gonzaga University. We are involved in advocating for student needs, outreach programming, teaching, consultation activities, and collaboration that serves to strengthen and enrich relationships with both the University and surrounding communities.

Generally stated, we strive to provide prompt and efficient medical and counseling services, promoting an awareness of the basic components of good physical, mental and emotional health offering programs in health education and preventive medicine to the entire Gonzaga community.
