GAMP assists individuals in exploring alternative career fields and in developing a network of contacts by matching them with alumni mentors in a particular career field.
Making decisions about a future career field can be an intimidating experience for students with limited work experience. With the help of an experienced mentor, students can explore the realities of the workplace and make career decisions that are aligned with their skills, interests and values. These relationships also serve as training exercises in the art of networking, interviewing and general professional protocol. These relationships serve as the foundation for a future professional network. GAMP also organizes networking events on campus and regional events in Spokane, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Jose, and New York. These events allow students to practice their networking skills and to make connections with alumni and friends in a variety of professional fields.
