Department of Educational Leadership and Administration
Chairperson: Chuck Salina
The purpose of the degree program is to prepare reflective educational leaders who promote student, professional and organizational learning to address challenges and opportunities inherent in a changing world.
The Department of Educational Leadership and Administration bases its degree programs on the premise that the education profession must be composed of knowledgeable, skilled, and committed leaders who operate from a strong value base. At the master's level, leadership is defined as possessing the knowledge, abilities and commitment to facilitate improvement of educational settings.
This Department offers four master's degree programs: The Master of Arts in Leadership and Administration (US), the Master of Education in Leadership and Administration (BC), the Master of Education (School Administration) (Alberta), and the Master of Arts in Anesthesiology Education.
