Center for Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry

The College of Arts & Sciences launched CURCI in 2016 in order to promote, publicize, facilitate, and celebrate the transformative educational experiences that occur through student-faculty collaborations.

Stressing collaborative learning and problem-solving, the Center reflects the Jesuit mission of service to the world.

Mission Statement

The Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry aims to:

  • expand undergraduate research and creative inquiry opportunities across campus and beyond
  • assist departments in incorporating research and creative inquiry into curricula
  • support faculty collaboration and interdisciplinary projects
  • and serve as a central clearinghouse for best practices in undergraduate research.
