What is TMP?
“Tomorrow Made Possible” is designed to educate students about philanthropy at Gonzaga and is a way to celebrate all of the people who make your education possible.
Here at Gonzaga University, tuition and fees do not cover the full costs of educating each GU student. Every year, the University supplements each student’s tuition with thousands of dollars of additional support, with the goal of making your education as affordable as possible.
This couldn’t be achieved without financial support from alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff. Their gifts help offset the full costs for you to attend GU.
Your future inspires all of us. The entire Gonzaga community contributes to developing our students into tomorrow’s leaders. Whether the gift is $10 or $10 million, each one makes an incredible impact on the quality of education provided to you.
Join us as we celebrate and thank all donors who help make up much of the difference between your tuition and the rest of the costs associated with operating the University.
How do gifts keep the total cost of education lower?
Gifts help close the gap between what you pay in tuition and what it actually costs to attend Gonzaga. Without private support, your tuition would have to increase to cover the total cost of your education.
How do gifts to Gonzaga support students?
Your Gonzaga alumni family believes in Jesuit education – and believes in making a difference. Their gifts support you. It’s also completely voluntary – they choose to support your Gonzaga experience.
How can you stay connected to Gonzaga?
University Relations reaches out to alumni, parents and friends to encourage their lasting connection and involvement with Gonzaga. We hope you, too, will one day choose to stay connected and support the University.
Where can you see the support?
Gonzaga University has a proud legacy of private support. If you look around campus, you’ll see examples such as the Foley Library, Jundt Art Center, McCarthey Athletic Center, Rudolf Fitness Center and the Student Chapel. All of these facilities were built because of philanthropy.
Who gives money to Gonzaga?
Lots of people! Alumni, parents, faculty/staff and friends of the University. Even corporations and foundations view supporting Gonzaga as a valuable investment.
Will my gift make a difference?
It’s not just the big gifts that make a difference here at Gonzaga. All gifts, no matter the size, help to propel the University in years of abundance and sustain the University in challenging times like we face today. Every single donation inspires something remarkable on campus.
