The Rental Agreement is the contract each student signs to receive on-campus housing. The deadline for receiving applications is May 1 for the Fall semester, and December 1 for the Spring semester. The contract is for an academic year only, unless students arrive in the Spring.

This document is a legally binding Agreement for housing, and can be canceled by the applicant only by written notice prior to June 1 for the Fall semester, and December 1 for the Spring semester. Refunds for this deposit may not be issued if notice is received after June 1.
Gonzaga University requires all students to live within on-campus university housing for a minimum of two years. Exceptions are granted for students who are married, over the age of 21 by August of the year of their required residency, or who are living with immediate family and who have filled out and sent us an Exemption Form (see attachment below). Students must either fulfill the two year live on requirement or turn 21 years of age by August 1st of the fall semester to qualify to live off campus at Gonzaga University.

Application for exemption must be made by June 1st for Fall semester and December 1st for Spring semester.
It is important to be aware that a written request to move off-campus does not constitute permission to do so, nor should students consider entering into an off-campus lease or agreement unless written permission is granted by the Office of Housing and Residence Life.
