The Dussault Apartment community, located on the west side of campus, are reserved primarily for second year residents and above. This larger apartment community is composed of individual apartments, each with two bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom, and a central living room area with either a balcony or a patio. All units include living room furnishings (chair, loveseat, kitchen table with chairs), bedroom furniture (desk, bed, dresser, wardrobe), a kitchen stove and refrigerator, cable TV, and data port jacks for access to ZagNet. This facility, like most of our facilities, is not air conditioned.

Each apartment unit is designed to accommodate up to four students. Thus, many of the features of each unit, such as compartments for food storage or the placement of outlets, have been designed around this principle. Each bedroom has its own phone line and bedroom door lock for added security and privacy. We offer only double bedrooms at this time. A double is defined as sharing a bedroom with one other individual, as well as sharing the common areas of the apartment with the resident(s) of the other bedroom.

Some of the apartments in the Dussault Apartment Complex accommodate students in the International Community interest housing.  In this community, US citizens share an apartment with international students.  Living together fosters the exchange for culture, both for the "American" resident and international student. Space in the international community is very limited.

This facility contains a laundry facility for the use of community residents, a recreation/gathering area near the laundry room, and well-lit walkways and parking lots (purchase of permit is required), and landscaping which ensures extensive visibility for pedestrians. Students in this community are required to choose a meal plan. If residents plan to use the fully equipped kitchen often, we encourage trying one of the least expensive meal plans which offers one meal a day that the resident can attend while in the center of campus between class periods.

An Assistant Residence Director is assigned to Dussault Apartments as well as several Resident Assistants. These student staff members are part of the Office of Housing and Residence Life team, and work in conjunction with the full-time professionals in this office to provide a quality experience based on respect for oneself, others and property. A live in professional level full time Residence Director provides oversight.
