GU Off Campus Housing Rentals

Housing Off Campus but Owned by the University:

The Office of Housing and Residence Life manages and operates 28 houses and 51 apartments in the off-campus neighborhood adjacent to Gonzaga University. These properties have been acquired in recent years as a means of providing additional living opportunities for juniors, senior, graduate, law, married students, and students with children.

Because of the proximity to campus, and moderate pricing, as well as the peace of mind associated with a "university as landlord" relationship, the number of applications that are received every year for these properties far outweigh the number of available spaces. Preference, therefore, is given only to registered Gonzaga students, who have fulfilled the University's two year on-campus living requirement or are above 21 years of age. Incoming freshman, and sophomore status students are not eligible for off-campus housing.

These are unfurnished apartment and house facilities.  Twenty-two houses are "Theme Houses". The Theme Houses currently remain as the same themes every year and we tend to allow the students to return and pick roommates to fill vacancies.  The apartment facilities vary in location and style.  Some are one bedroom, some two.  Some are ground floor, others third floor.

Students are responsible for their own utilities and none of these units are connected to neither the University phone system nor the data lines.

For further information on Gonzaga University's off-campus properties, residency requirements or to obtain an application, please contact Nicolas Grainger, Residence Director,at (509) 313-4103 or through e-mail offcampushousing@gonzaga.edu.

Not Owned by the University:

Spokane is a large city.  You will have no problem finding that special place to live off campus while attending Gonzaga if you are flexible with how far away from the campus you wish to live.  Most students manage to live within a half mile of GU.  To assist you locating rentals in the surrounding Logan neighborhood and beyond, the university offers a "virtual bulletin board" where private landlords may post and manage available rental properties:
