Get Involved!

There are numerous ways to get involved while a student at Gonzaga.  Below are some of the main organizations that provide opportunities for student involvement.  You can use the menu bar to the left or just click on the organizations listed below to find out more about them, what they have to offer and how you can get involved!

Center for Community Action and Service-Learning (CCASL): CCASL is driven to provide a continuum of service opportunities for students to experience while attending Gonzaga University.  CCASL programs range from one time service opportunities to weekly programs that go all year long.  Come join our plunge service projects and help breathe life into Gonzaga’s mission of creating “men and women for others.”

Clubs and Organizations:  There are over 95 student clubs and organizations at Gonzaga, with a wide variety of interests and focus. 

Crosby Student Center:  Crosby is the home of lounging, studying, meeting, greeting, and merry-making on campus.  Inside its walls you can find numerous opportunities for involvement as well as purchase discounted tickets, find a lost item, grab a snack, and track down a study partner.  “Energy” is Crosby’s motto—so get busy booking an event table, posting fliers, painting a window, and creating a larger-than life poster.

Gonzaga Student Body Association (GSBA):  GSBA is Gonzaga's student governing body. GSBA is the place to go to get information about what's going on at Gonzaga and what you can do about it.  If you want to have a hand in what student life is like, think about participating in GSBA.

Gonzaga Activities Board (GAB):  GAB is the activities, event and programming branch of GSBA.  We are a student run organization, which provide a wide range of events for the GU community.

Office of Student Activities:  Our focus is to provide support, advising and information to many of the organizations that put on events and activities for the GU community.  These include the Gonzaga Student Body Association (GSBA), Gonzaga Activities Board (GAB), Gonzaga Outdoors, New Student Orientation, Senior Week and over 80 other student clubs and organizations. 

Recreational Opportunities:  There are a number of ways to enjoy the outdoors get some fresh air and possibly some exercise.   Intramural sports, Club Sports and Gonzaga Outdoors are the main organizations that support these endeavors. 

Student Media:  Gonzaga offers a variety of student publications which need student involvement and input.   Find out more about them here.

Unity House: Unity House was established in 1997 by a student leader who strongly advocated for a positive change. Its purpose is to help Gonzaga develop and expand its commitment to recruit, nurture and retain students, faculty and staff of diverse cultural backgrounds who add to, and can benefit from the distinctive educational and social experience at Gonzaga.

University Ministry:  University Ministry: University Ministry’s primary goal is to offer students what they need to grow in their relationship with God and to teach them about the Jesuit and Catholic mission of the University. This is accomplished through retreats and other programs such as Theology on Tap, Catalyst, the annual Pilgrimage and more. The department can also link students to resources (Catholic and otherwise) and church communities off campus.
