The Substance Free community is available for 1st and 2nd year residents. Students in this community reside in Dillon Hall and a location to determined soon. These two facilities, combined, will provide 180 beds for students wishing to live in communities which support their personal commitments to be totally substance free. Students living in this type of community make a personal commitment in writing to remain free from tobacco, alcohol or drugs during their residency in the community. This personal commitment is in the form of a written agreement with the university. You can express interest in this community on your Rental Agreement and we will send you out a more detailed letter about the community and two versions of an agreement. One version is more restrictive than the other, mostly in relation to off campus behavior, but both agreements represent a commitment to refrain from use of tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs on or off campus while attending Gonzaga.If you have made a personal commitment to remain free of substances, at least for now, consider living in this community. You have your choice of two Agreements. Simply review them and choose the one that best fits you, sign it and submit it with your Application/Rental Agreement. We'll try our best to find a space for you in one of these exciting communities.
