Editor's Note

No man is an island, and no yearbook is either. So many people helped in the production of this yearbook that need to be thanked. To Doug Carpenter, our Walsworth Sales Representative since 1998: we have deeply appreciated all the many hours you've spent mentoring, demonstrating, and caring for our staff. Come back and visit us soon.

Thank you to the kind souls here at Gonzaga who helped us through the rough spots: the staff of Computer Support, Oliver Pierce, Fr. John Mossi, Anna Klimas for designing all of the parent ads, Dale Goodwin, and all of the many students who either submitted pictures or helped identify that guy in the third row. Because of you, this book is a better representation of Gonzaga.

Thank you to the 14 students and faculty members who allowed themselves to be profiled on our pages: your personal 'inspirations' are testaments to the mission of Gonzaga: humanistic, Jesuit, service-oriented, Catholic.

A special thank you to Joanne Shiosaki, adviser to Spires: your support and encouragement throughout this process has meant so much. Thank you to the entire Spires staff, who not only produced great spreads and amazing photos, but became my friends. You are all wonderful, talented people, and I am honored to be your fellow yearbook nerd.

And finally, thank you to all of the people in my life who buoyed me up this year. The phone calls and cards from home (and Florence!), the llama dates at Rockwood, and the piggyback rides and romantic sap at a moment's notice kept this zagmoose happy. God bless, and see you next year.
