In late August, 24 freshmen brave white water at the first-ever Orientation Raft Trip. Freshmen spent one week navigating the rapids on the Clark Fork River in Montana.

Freshmen duke it out in an intense jello wrestling match. Orientation provided many fun activities including beach blast, a boat cruise, and theme nights at the COG.

Knights and Setons unveil the total donation made to C.O.L.T. following the annual Charity Ball.

A student plays a hard-working businessman by day and disheveled, haggard rhinoceros by night. The play, "Rhinoceros" was chosen by the Gonzaga theatre to "explore the notion of conformity as a means of survival."

"See How They Run," is a British farce set in 1949. The play was performed in the fall.

Sea creatures join in the telling of the story of the evil Scorpion to Urashima Taro. This famous Japanese folktale was meant to delight children of all ages.

Students and anti-war protestors gather at a well-attended rally in downtown Spokane. There were several non-violent demonstrations on campus against the war.

A student watches coverage of the conflict on CNN in his room. For the first few days of the war, networks showed non-stop coverage of the War in Iraq. The Bulletin ran stories from special correspondents in Washington, D.C., and in Florence, Italy.

Students kick off the lip-sync competition during Homecoming Week. The first-place winners won $300!

Toward the end of the show, the audience is asked to try their skills at dancing Tahitian. Following his amazing performance, a student was crowned the "Pineapple King."

As guests fill the Martin Center, two seniors provide soft melodies from Hawaii.

Although military exercises demand his total focus, this ROTC cadet still manages to relax with a smile.

Studies extend beyond the classroom and into the field where a junior listens intently with pen in hand and weapon at her side. ROTC cadets prepare mentally as well as physically for any circumstances they might face in the future.

Over 500 April's Angels volunteers spent the day painting the entire St. Paschal School on April 26. The volunteers gave the school a new breath of life.
