About the Artists
[2] Adam Wargacki is senior, and studies chemistry and English. He loves all living
creatures, especially the very delicious ones.
[4] Ken Frybarger is a groundskeeper at Gonzaga University.
[5] Kevin Richards is a junior at Gonzaga University.
[6] Sabrina Mauritz is a master of language, so much that she has developed a language called “Merrr.” In her spare time, she leads under-privileged youth on Klondike expeditions while wearing polar bear fleece socks. Oftentimes, you can find her in the corners of coffee shops with large tables, scribbling on the back pages of novels and discussing urban planning.
[7] Rod Aminian is a junior majoring in political-science and history. He hopes to acquire an autographed photo of every US Senator in the 110th Congress, and his interests include filibusters and committee chairmanships.
[8] Loriel Weddington is a senior. She is majoring in biology.
[9] Jon Corrigan is an English major and a senior at Gonzaga. He likes writing poetry and making things out of clay. He hopes to someday feel like he has completely finished a poem or making something out of clay.
[10] Lindy Dentinger is a senior. He looks better with facial hair than most.
[11] Anne is a junior. When it comes to majors, she is currently withholding judgment.
[12] Eric Kincanon has taught in the Physics Department since 1987. His inspirations
come almost entirely from his relationships with his wife, Donna, and triplet children, Matthew, Joseph and Rachel.
[13] Gina Fruen’s work has been exhibited in Jundt.
[14] Marcy Ray is a senior. Her name is not a form of futuristic weapon.
[18] Sherman Alexie attended Gonzaga from 1985-1987.. Alexie’s recent honors include the 2003 Regents’ Distinguished Alumnus Award, Washington State University’s highest honor for alumni. His work was selected for inclusion in The Best American Short Stories 2004, edited by Lorrie Moore, and Pushcart Prize XXIX of the Small Presses. His short story “What You Pawn I Will Redeem” was selected by juror Ann Patchett as her favorite story for the The O. Henry Prize Stories 2005. He holds honorary degrees from Seattle University (doctor of humanities, honoris causa - 2000) and Columbia College, Chicago (1999).
[21] Dan Hess is a sophomore. He makes the best coffee at Crosby café.
[22] Eleri Oley Kerian is an ‘06 alumna. She lives with her husband in Grafton, North
Dakota and is eagerly awaiting the birth of their daughter.
[24] Laura Collins is a senior majoring in English and political science.
[25] Amber Curnow is a junior at Gonzaga. She is working on her BA in Biology,
Elementary Education Certification, and Biology Endorsement in Secondary Education. Photography is one of her passions, particularly nature photography and macro photography. She is beginning to branch out to old architectural photos too. She plans to continue with photography throughout her life, but primarily just as a creative pastime.

[28] Chris Dreyer is a senior he edits Charter and encourages submissions strongly He likes art.

[30] Steven Prohira is a Sophomore from Colorado. He has no idea what he wants to
do with his life. He enjoys good conversation and reading things which he doesn’t quite
understand.
[31] Kim Knees is a senior majoring in English and marketing.
[32] Abraham Wenning is completing his final semester at Gonzaga. He once told the
editor of this publication that he thought Austen’s Persuasion was merely “pretty good,” but she likes him anyway.
[33] Emmett Tribolet is a sophomore who enjoys short walks with books on his head
to improve his balance. He hopes someday to tightrope walk across the gap between the Petronas Towers with an unabridged “Les Miserables.”
[34] Dominic Bruno enjoys naps, cooking and the peaceful game of baseball. He is from the end of the road in Idaho but speaks a bit of Romanian.
[35] Hiro Schneider is a freshman majoring in business administration and international business.
[36] Isaac Melum likes cake, conversation and dancing (in the dark). His poem is not
about NASCAR.
[37] Ian Sullivan is a freshman majoring in psychology.
[38] Cat Daze is a junior art major.
[39] Tebria Diane Stone is a junior and is majoring in criminal justice, with a double
minor in psychology and English. She hopes one day to be a forensic psychologist and be paid for writing her poetry on the side. She thanks her mother and her fiancèe for encouraging her to write and publish her work.
[40] Elizabeth Stauder is a freshman whose interests include English, Spanish, sociology, and philosophy.
[42] Lindsey Pierce is a freshman from Vancouver, Washington majoring in International Studies. She takes pleasure in faking fluency in foreign languages, defending the strange indie music she listens to, eating too many sweets and blaming it on her Danish heritage, keeping a log of ridiculous but quote-worthy conversations, and making her friends angry by sleeping into late hours of the afternoon.
[43] Alex Dumke is freshman. No one is entirely sure what that thing in his picture is.
[44] Chris Heinrich has the dating persona of the Slow Dancer. Battleaxes should keep their distance, but Sonnets and Maids of Honor are welcome.
[46] K@ Brauer is a 19-year old junior. An avid Harry Potter fan, she also spends her
time writing romance novels and playing Dungeons and Dragons. She wants to go back to China really, really badly.
[47] Danielle Loparco is a junior Psychology major with a minor in English and a concentration in Women’s Studies. She has been known to despise mushrooms, onions, scary movies, and patriarchy. Her current aspirations include being adopted by Gloria Steinem, finding a cure for gender inequity, and getting more than four hours of sleep a night.
[48] Katie Mulcaire-Jones is a sophomore from Butte, MT. She enjoys eating granola and running in the rain, but rarely at the same time. Her secret ambition is to become a farmer and she is currently biding her time until “Landwifery” appears on GU’s list of majors.

[50] Diana Mena is a sophomore majoring in sociology.
[53] Megan Langfitt is a freshman. Her dream home would have a library, an art studio, a view of the ocean and a window seat all of her own. Unfortunately, she is poor, but if you give her chocolate she might feel better about it.”
[54] John Breedlove is a Gonzaga alumnus who is currently searching for soul-satisfying employment. He is right handed.
[55] Melissa Falcone is a sophomore from Anchorage. She is a public relations major
and enjoys spending time outdoors, in particular hiking and kayaking.
[56] Andy Lundquist is a sophomore. In addition to writing poetry he also enjoys charcoal drawing. This will not be the last time Andy submits his work to Reflection.
