Brian T. Anderson is a senior English major with minors in Art and Philosophy from Phoenix, AZ, who enjoys reading and writing, drawing, playing music, and coffee.
Iain Bernhoft is in his third year and shows no signs of leaving Gonzaga anytime soon. He likes pianos, the Safeway wine aisle, and doing dramatic (and highly suggestive) readings of others' poetry.
Aaron Brown is a sophomore Philosophy/Computer Science double major. He hopes to make a living as a novelist. He is addicted to caffeine, music, and the glow from his computer's monitor.
Lexi Coburn says that the subtle forms of nature catch her artistic eye and poetic spirit; the forms found within, like the tree's branches shaped like arms, faces in the trunks, dancing.
John Cummings is currently looking for nothing in Spain and has yet to place that all-important exclamation point.
Chris Dreyer enjoys photography, ginger ale and brown corduroy. In his spare time, he shouts obscenities at squirrels and knits sweaters from bellybutton lint. He also enjoys saying "waffle."
Aimee Fletcher is a junior Psychology major and Sociology minor from Edmonds, WA, who enjoys laughing with friends, carrot cake, and all types of photography.
Sarah Flett is a senior who dabbles in writing and photography when she is not too busy trying to change the world. She enjoys life and all its idiosyncrasies.
Mary Fontana will graduate from Gonzaga in May with a degree in Biology and then twiddle her thumbs until National Geographic comes out with a poetry edition.
Josiah Freeman attends Gonzaga University as an English major. He is also getting his teaching certification. Photography is one of his favorite hobbies. This is his first published photograph.
Erica Heinz is a counselor in the Office of Admission. She specializes in good humor and jumping rope. She enjoys hiking, cooking, music, and correcting poor grammar.
Eric Kincanon has taught in the Physics Department since 1987. His inspirations come almost entirely from his relationships with his wife and triplet children.
Kelly Lynch is a senior English/Education major from Gig Harbor, Washington. Kelly enjoys shopping for oriental tea sets, wearing headscarves, getting piggy-back rides, and running in the snow.
John Morey Maurice is a professor at the Gonzaga University School of Law. He is also the director of the Florence Summer Law Program. Professor Maurice studied fresco in Florence with Fr. Bruno Segatta and Professor Massimo Mascii.
Cole Nevins is a sophomore Computer Science student from Olympia, WA., who also hopes to escape with a Latin minor. He can be found playing guitar, taking photographs, or challenging anything that moves to a fencing duel.
John Nourse is a junior studying English. He has never before attempted publication. It is his fondest hope that someday people will pay money to read his poetry and prose.
Jenni Renée Opalinski is a sophomore majoring in History and minoring in Theatre Arts from St. George, Utah. She hopes one day to work in a museum beside beautiful pieces of art and history.
Joseph Previtali is a senior majoring in Philosophy. He is a seminarian for the Archdiocese of San Francisco and will be attending the Pontifical North American College in Rome in the fall.
Ann Pukstas is a junior and an English/ Secondary Ed major at Gonzaga. She actually enjoys reading and hopes to one day win a Pulitzer for writing the Great American Novel in her "spare" time.
Chris Rini is a fifth year History major from California. His interests include playing the pipe organ, confusing the past and the present, and driving his recalcitrant orange Rambler.
Leah Rourke is a senior English major and would like to thank her mom who made possible her year in Firenze where she wrote the poem; the obsessed LPS; and the fabulous Trio.
Sheron Ruffner believes in the preservation of traditional photography. Her photographs reflect four decades of self-directed photographic art and formal training. She has been a GU staff member since 1997 and in the GU Photography Club since 2000.
Blake Slonecker is a senior History major from Eugene, Oregon. He will be married to Andrea Hanson in July and attend graduate school in the fall.
John Stewart is a senior English major and Spanish minor from Portland, Or. He sings in the University Choir and is a RA in St. Catherine/St. Monica hall. He loves reading, snowboarding, and playing with his dog Max.
Greg Sullivan is an aspiring hermit, shaman, and world leader who writes in his spare time to ease the demons in his mind and perhaps share something with the world at large.
Chelsea Thoumsin is a freshman from Scottsdale, Arizona. She is majoring in Art and Business with English and Music minors.
