For 16 years, the Center for Community Action and Service Learning (CCASL) at Gonzaga University has paired well-trained and passionate college students together with school youth from the Spokane community. Started in 1995 with the creation of Campus Kids at Stevens and Logan Elementary, CCASL's Mentoring Programs have expanded by leaps and bounds. Today, we house 8 distinct mentoring programs in 14 Spokane Public schools, with 350 Gonzaga students serving over 700 youth. Current programs include Project Eye to Eye, Earthbound, Garry Gardening, Campus Kids, Connections, SMILE, GAME, and Zag Study Buddies.
We are now accepting applications for mentoring leadership positions, including Campus Kids, SMILE, Zag Study Buddies, Earthbound, GAME, and Connections. Applications will be accepted through Friday, March 30th and can be found HERE!
Please return your applications to the CCASL II house and feel free to direction your questions to Bailley Wootton.
