About This Event

Come gather as we are nourished, guided and sent into the school year and the world.

The Offices of the President, Vice President of Mission Integration, Mission & Ministry, and Provost cordially invite you to the Mass of the Holy Spirit.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a Jesuit tradition dating back to the sixteenth century. Celebrated each year at Jesuit schools around the world, it is an opportunity for the entire Gonzaga community to pray for the guidance and wisdom of God’s Spirit as we undertake the work of our mission during this academic year. All are welcome to join together in prayer at this Catholic liturgy, regardless of religious affiliation or belief.

Lunch will be served in the Cataldo Hall's Globe Room immediately following Mass. This portion has been moved indoors due to poor air quality

The Tuesday class schedule is adjusted to allow all members of the Gonzaga community to participate in the Mass of the Holy Spirit. As a reminder, the only classes canceled are those conflicting with Mass & lunch following [the 9:25-10:40 and 10:50-12:05 classes] – labs that meet once per week are not canceled.
