Angela: Conversation on conversations. Mission advisory committee. Monday the 17th breakfast, 18th lunch, Catholic Intellectual Tradition, facilitated by a faculty member, eager to have staff involved and included. Part two: Ignatian tradition meetings. November 23 and 12/2. On staff l. Promote in our work areas. Talk about it.
HUG suggestion: Who Moved My Cheese? Book; Use as a theme for Heads Up. Accepting/Denying change, a fairytale setting, mice going through a maze. Small, impactful book. Put HUG team together next meeting. Another suggestion is that HUG and Spring Open meeting be put together.
Christmas time off. Academic dean's meeting, announcement AVPs office closed 3 days with limited access. Are they paid holidays? (E?) What do other offices do? There is a lot of interest in time off outside SA. Roberta commented that SAEC had made the proposal. Chair of committee wanted a copy. But no one wants to make a final decision. Roberta suggested we resubmit the proposal to Thayne.
Next meeting agenda: Review proposal, no time to do anything radically different. Feed back from comp committee? Not time.
