Assessment is about continuous quality improvement, accountability, effectiveness and efficiency.

The Office of Outcomes Assessment supports the academic community with Learning Outcomes Assessment. This office offers workshops, resources, and information in cooperation with the Center for Teaching and Advising (CTA).

IR understands integrated Strategic Planning as the linking of vision, priorities, people, and the physical institution in a flexible system of evaluation, decision-making and action. Strategic Planning shapes and guides the entire organization as it evolves over time and within its community.

The Board of Trustees approved Gonzaga University's Strategic Plan July 17, 2015. Revisions to the plan were introduced to, and approved by, the Board of Trustees July 6, 2016. This is meant to be a "living plan" that will continue to evolve, as does the University and its opportunities.
