Gonzaga University Surplus Items
GONZAGA UNIVERSITY SURPLUS ITEMS
MISSION: Gonzaga University's mission is to recycle excess surplus property back to Gonzaga Departments whenever possible.  After a reasonable time, surplus property not used by other Gonzaga Departments is offered for sale. The first purchase opportunity goes to Gonzaga faculty, staff, students and is closed to the public.  If no bids are received after two weeks, the item is offered to the general public.  All items are offered through closed bid process.  Items currently being offered for sale are listed below.
PROPERTY INSPECTION: Bidders are urged to inspect property offered for sale at the sale site prior to sale time. Gonzaga University makes no warranty, express or implied, as to quantity, kind, year, character, quality, weight, size, or description of any of the property offered for sale, or its fitness for any use or purpose.
CONDITION OF PROPERTY: All property is offered for sale "as is, where is" with no warranty or guarantee as to condition. The bidder is responsible for determining the condition of property prior to bidding and should bid accordingly.
BID CONSIDERATIONS AND AWARD: Gonzaga University reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Successful bidders are required to make arrangements for payment within 48 hours of notification from the Purchasing Department to successful bidder. All sales are final.
TITLE: Gonzaga University's interest in the property passes to the successful bidder at the time of announcement of award. At this time, risk of loss or damage will not release the bidder from the obligation to buy the property. However, until the property is paid for, Gonzaga University retains possession, as security toward the entire payment of the purchase price. Prior to possession of the property by the purchaser, when legal title of ownership passes from Gonzaga University to the purchaser, the University may, if it decides that it is necessary, practical, or convenient, move any items. Loading and transporting items are the responsibility of the successful Bidder.
METHOD OF PAYMENT: Gonzaga University will accept payment in the form of cash, personal check (from Gonzaga University employees only)or visa/mastercard.
