Celebrating Student Research
Student research is an inquiry or investigation conducted by an undergraduate or graduate student that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to their discipline. Student research is an educational practice that has the ability to engage student interest and enthusiasm for an area of study and to help them launch promising careers. Note the 2014 (12th annual) Spokane Intercollegiate Research Conference (SIRC), will be held on the Gonzaga University campus on Saturday, April 26th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It will feature over 200 student presentations on their original research for peer review. The conference will take place in Jepson. Attendance is free and open to the public. Learn more about the 2014 event here.
