Administrative Leave
Administrative leave is University-initiated non-disciplinary paid time off for the employee for a variety of purposes related to the employee relations process. Typical uses are, but not limited to, these types of situations: investigate alleged offenses, cooling off period during conflict, evaluate performance and/or conduct and explore options until final resolution is implemented. Administrative leave is at the supervisor's discretion with Human Resources review and area VP approval. Normally, administrative leave is a maximum of five working days.
